I wore myself out with Hammond, and don't even own one these days. I bought a new Hammond M100 when young, and within 2 weeks I wished I had bought the Wurlitzer instead. As mentioned Hammond is OK with bands, but it sure lacks for the extras that Wurlitzer provides. You should go with the Wurlitzer since it has so much more to offer. whatever you do check EVERY key, tab, stop, button. most people just want "mom's old organ" out of the house but feel like they should charge "something". as for the price of the 4300 its $150,who cares it's $150.but i would check craigslist for an orbit equiped wurli and beat them down to $50 (i have done this twice on a $350 original prices. they are simply to entirely different instruments. if you plan on playing with a band a Hammond is the better choice. this assumes you intend to play alone and need a diverse instrument to noodle on.you will not get bored with a Wurlitzer w/orbit (625,630,805,950 models). ![]() if i could have only one,it would be the Wurlitzer. I have a Wurlitzer 630TA w orbit synth and a hammond M-100.
